About Capability in Motion

We train older adults where they live, so strength shows up in the places it matters — the stairs, the garden, the grandchildren.

Training services

Strength, Bone Health & Longevity

Progressive resistance and power work that rebuilds the muscle age quietly takes away, with bone-loading movements chosen for your history and comfort.

Balance, Fall Prevention & Confidence

Balance, gait, coordination, reaction time and light agility, plus safe practice getting down to and up off the floor. We rehearse the stairs, curbs and rugs you actually use.

Mobility, Endurance & Everyday Function

Walking endurance, cardiovascular fitness and flexibility trained through the tasks that fill a day — stairs, groceries, bending, reaching, getting out of a chair or a car.

Post-Rehab Fitness & Recovery

The bridge after physical therapy, surgery, hospitalization or a long illness. We work from discharge notes and rebuild tolerance gradually.

Neurological Fitness & Movement

Cueing-based training for Parkinson's, post-stroke recovery, MS and other neurological conditions — big deliberate movements, rhythm and dual-task practice.

Memory-Care Friendly Movement

Simple, familiar routines with short cues, plenty of repetition and the same trainer every visit, designed for mild cognitive impairment and dementia.

How we work

One trainer, consistently.

You see the same person, who learns your history and your goals — not whoever is free that week.

A measured starting point.

The free 45-minute assessment records chair rises, walking, balance holds, fall history and home hazards, so progress is later shown in numbers rather than impressions.

Families stay informed.

After each session you and any family you invite receive a written summary with photos. Family logins are read-only, you choose who gets one, and you can revoke access at any time.

Clinicians stay in the loop.

With your permission we read discharge notes, work within stated precautions, and send visit reports to your physician or physical therapist.

Falls get written down.

Every fall and near-miss you tell us about is logged, including the ones that felt too minor to mention, because the pattern is what leads to a fixable cause.

Safety first, always.

Our trainers hold specialized education in senior fitness, corrective exercise, Alzheimer's fitness or functional aging. All hold current CPR/AED and are background-checked.
